Account Management
Account managers are the liaison between our client contacts and the Vialogix development team. They develop strategic plans and oversee projects while helping to determine plan of action and best solution for the client’s online needs.
Account managers also are responsible for creating timelines, managing client budgets, and ensuring that Vialogix meets deliverable requirements. We expect our account managers to have business consulting skills and a solid grasp of the opportunities the Internet affords.
Skills sought:
- Strong people skills and attention to detail
- True understanding of the Web
- Understanding of site construction and application integration
- Ability to successfully manage multiple interactive projects
- Professional services or consulting business skills
- 5 years experience in professional services account role
- Degree in business, management, computer science, or similar field
Design
Vialogix designers develop the overall creative direction of online projects. Our designers are seasoned at translating our clients’ identity to an effective human-focused interface for the Web. The design team leads efforts in developing information architecture and templates presented for client approval and user testing.
Our designers have excellent communication skills and frequently assist with client presentations, wire frames, prototypes, information architecture, user testing and concept development. Designers must understand marketing strategy and how to design for the best possible user experience.
Skills sought:
- Team player who truly understands the Web
- Extensive experience with Photoshop, Imageready, Illustrator, etc.
- Working knowledge of HTML and Web limitations
- Understanding of usability practices, information architecture and customer-focused interactive work
- Degree in design or related field, 3+ years interactive design experience
Development
Development team members manage the technology throughout the development phase of all projects.
This includes making recommendations to the design team, developing working prototypes, creating object-oriented templates, specifying functionality, developing custom applications and building out HTML, as well as ocassionally interacting with clients.
Skills sought:
- Team player with initiative to find better solutions
- HTML 3.2, JavaScript, CSS, XML, WML, WAP and other client-side scripting languages
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Imageready, BBEdit, CyberStudio, Frontier, Mason, and multiple database applications
- Programming experience (especially Java, C++, PERL, SQL) and multiple operating systems (Solaris, LINUX, XP, 2000, Mac)
- BS/BA in related field + 5 years experience
Information Architecture
Vialogix information architects define and design the functional user interaction, navigation and flow of web-based projects, while placing a strong emphasis on, and adherence to, usability practices and guidelines.
Our information architects work from a user-focused base and are involved in all stages of a project’s lifecycle. Additional duties include user testing and interaction with clients.
Skills sought:

- Four-year degree in related field, 3+ years IA/Usability web experience
