About Us > History
Vialogix founders Rob Norris and nationally known photographer Ron Chapple first collaborated on imaging, multimedia and digital video production in 1992.
By the mid-90s, the entrepreneurial duo foresaw the communication and enormous business potential of the fledgling Internet and built their first web site in 1995.
They created Vialogix the following year to provide usable, human-focused Web development solutions. Start-up accounts included First Union Corporation, Davidson College and Springs Industries.
Through Rob’s leadership the company expanded its focus to include intranets, extranets, portals and web application user interface.
After many years observing how users interface with a web site or application, Rob concluded that the most efficient designs are those that are tailored to the needs of its users. Vialogix now is singularly focused as a user-centered design resource for its clients.
Today, Vialogix focuses exclusively on web-based tools like e-commerce, Web-enabled applications and transactional online solutions that enable clients to reduce business costs and increase their sales.
